New Zoho ERP launch: What this could mean alongside AI, MCP, and other key updates

Today’s ERP is evolving from a system of integration into a system of intelligence. It no longer just unifies data but helps teams move from insight to action across core operations. Traditional ERP relies on fixed workflows and reports, but modern businesses move faster and need systems that can respond in context.

This shift is enabled by Model Context Protocol (MCP), which securely connects AI models with enterprise data and workflows. When intelligence is embedded into ERP and BI, insights don’t live in dashboards, they show up where work happens.

In this edition, we look at how modern ERP, MCP, and AI-powered BI work together to turn real-time business insight into real-time execution.

Platform & product launches

One key highlight is the launch of our new ERP platform from Kumbakonam. Built around modern business needs, it supports operations across commerce, supply chain, finance, and much more with compliance and payments built in from day one.

We also introduced Zoho Procurement, designed to bring structure, visibility, and control to purchasing workflows and vendor payments that sit at the center of operations.

Recognition & market validation

The same focus showed up in collaboration. Zoho Cliq was recognised as a Leader and Outperformer in the GigaOm Radar for UCaaS Solutions, reflecting how teams communicate better.

AI, data & intelligence updates

In Zoho DataPrep, you can now run pipelines and simplify data movement just by chatting with an AI assistant, powered by our MCP Server technology. Alongside this, 20 new connectors expand how easily data flows across Zoho apps.

This intelligence carries into analytics, too. Zoho Analytics now brings agentic AI into the entire BI workflow, from no-code pipelines to natural-language reports and predictive insights, helping teams move from raw data to decisions with less friction.

Product enhancements

Ops & admins

Collecting information is getting smarter. Zoho Forms can now instantly extract data from images using AI Smart Scan, while admins get a centralised hub to manage and control AI capabilities across the organisation.

Legal

On the legal side, requesting a contract doesn’t need emails or follow-ups anymore. With Intake Forms in Zoho Contracts, users submit a simple form, contracts are auto-created, and legal owners are notified, cutting delays and confusion.

IT & automation

Before anything goes live, there’s room to experiment safely. Zoho Sign now includes a sandbox environment where admins can test workflows and automations without touching live data.

A new forum for finance leadership

Our first-ever CFO Exchange brought finance leaders together for conversations on leadership, decision-making, and what the role actually demands today. Panels sparked ideas, peer discussions added perspective, and the energy carried through the room! Explore the conversations, and watch how the meetup unfolded.

Better experiences from first sign-up to field execution

First impressions matter, which is why webinar registration pages can now be fully branded in Zoho Webinar, with customisable layouts, logos, banners, and speaker highlights, turning a simple form into a polished entry point.

Out in the field, capturing repeat job details just got easier. Zoho FSM now supports Subforms in Job Sheets, helping teams record inspections and asset health data in a structured, audit-ready way.

Similarly, when technicians need guidance mid-task, Zoho Lens lets them follow predefined work instructions during live sessions, track progress, and review outcomes later through reports.

That wraps things up for now. Curious about any of the updates or want to learn more? Just hit reply. We'll be happy to help!

Until next time,
